  • Metered Letter (1 oz): $0.74 (was $0.69)
  • Forever Stamp: $0.78 (was $0.73)
  • Postcard (Domestic): $0.62 (was $0.56)
  • International Letter/Postcard (1 oz): $1.70 (was $1.65)
  • Additional Ounce (Letters): $0.29 (was $0.28)

What does this mean for your CBS machine?

Central Business Systems, Inc. is the premier Quadient dealer of Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana.

It is essential that all Quadient postal meters remain connected to the internet to ensure proper function and automatic updates. Quadient will release the new rate file before the effective date. If connected via LAN, your machine will automatically download and activate the new rates on July 13, 2025.


Offline Systems (Not connected to LAN):

If your meter is not always connected or still using a modem, you must perform a generic call before July 13.



  • To Perform A Generic Call

    1. Press the “Menu” button.

    2. Select “Supervisor Mode” and press the “OK” button.

    3. Enter the code 09430 and press the “OK” button.

    4. Select “Online Services” and press the “OK” button.

    5. Restart the postal meter once the software update is complete.

  • Generic Call Without "Supervisor Mode"

    1. Press the “Menu” button.

    2. Select “Online Services“

    3. Select “Generic Call“

    4. Select “OK” to confirm.

    5. If the postage machine send you an error message, please call our team to assist you.

  • To Conduct A Postal Inspection

    1. Press the “Funding” button. This button looks like a stack of coins

    2. Select the “Audit” or “Postal Inspection” option from the menu.

     3. Select “OK” to confirm
